I shopped on Black Friday when I was younger and I remember even 10 years ago feeling like I could get trampled in the surge. That is one of the reasons I have quit shopping that way and now do it online. I still can't believe that some people are so obsessed with finding a deal that they would ignore the body underneath their feet. Guy gets knocked down by raging crowd - OK, that happens. But, shoppers ignore guy who's been knocked down and trample him to death? Is it just me, or is there a serious problem with the human race? I enjoy going out early for Black Friday shopping, but I'm realistic about it. I have a list of what I want to get, knowing full well that some of those items might be gone by the time I reach their shelf. I don't get myself all bent out of shape if I can't get what I want when I want it. Other people have just as much right to the sales as I do - there's no reason to push and shove. I'm on bed rest due to pregnancy complications, so I did my black friday shopping online yesterday morning, and I made out quite well. I spent enough that I didn't have to pay for shopping, and I got to do it all in the comfort of my own jammies and fluffy slippers.
