		<description>Although I think it may be a good idea, local banks should go back to their traditional roles of serving the local market and stay away form Wall St., the realm of investment banks and brokerage houses. Banks failed throwing money at questionable investment vehicles like sub-prime mortgages and we are now seeing the result of this misguided attempt at speculative investing. Banks should do what they do best, take care of the local population and it&#039;s financial needs.
