		<description>This sort of wouldn&#039;t happen in the UK - there are rules about making people redundant, and full-time employees are not on &#039;at will&#039; contracts. Doesn&#039;t mean that bad luck won&#039;t happen though, and you&#039;re right that you should try and be covered against Bad Things.
