Welcome to the Saturday Roundup of Credit Withdrawal posts and other interesting posts around the blogosphere. I think the snow and such is finally starting to go away. Now we can open the windows and air out the place. The family is still getting over the flu this week, CWMomma has it now, and she’s going through the coughing fits like everyone else did last week.
From Credit Withdrawal this week
- The Great Quicken Giveaway Contest
- Simple Credit Building Trick for the College Student
- The Social Stigma of No Health Insurance
- News Flash – Another Blogger goes Pro!
I participated in the following carnivals last week too.
- Carnival of Personal Finance #141 – The College Years Edition
- Carnival of Financial Planning – March 1 2008 Edition
Blog Spotlight:
The Blog Spotlight is where I single out the best blog entry I’ve come across each week, along with a short description of why I liked it. This week hit close to home, with paying kids to excel in school.
Collecting My Cash – Should Children be Paid to Excel in School?
This is one of those ‘no one agrees completely’ subjects. I pay my kids for good grades, but I also REQUIRE them to get good grades (meaning that if I see a downward trend, they get to talk to me about what’s going on. Quite the punishment really)

Thanks for the mention! I hope you all feel better soon!
